Fantasy/Comedy/Spinoff

"I'm fashionably behind schedule, for a mildly imperative event."

Dyne lays underneath a tree reading manga, as a beautiful, elegant Echo towers over her. After a frustratingly enigmatic exchange, Dyne chases Echo through the trees where she trips over a root and tumbles down, down, down into a world of fantastical and hellishly annoying chaos. Zero makes an appearance as the smoking caterpillar, and Aubrey appears as the White Knight, and the Red Queen! Dyne's imagination gets the best of her in this dreamlike romp through Blunderland.

Dyne is passed out in the health bay of the Coriolis, and dreaming of a world where her beautiful crewmates act out as characters from Alice in Wonderland. However, because of their less-befitting natures, they don't quite fit the roles to a T.

There's faux romance, parodies of Alice in Wonderland, and nonsensical & dreamlike fun. It has an overall goofy and light tone, with conflicts that seem unprecedented or silly. I want this story to be a nice break from maybe more serious tones in the mainline story, Quantum Century.


Characters

Dyne Langley

A flighty, exciteable, flustered girl. Gets herself into predicaments with her impatience, but means well. She is very sweet, or at least acts sweet until things don't go her way. Energetic, bashful, full of contraries. She is the "straight man" character, pointing out flaws and inconsistencies. Nobody really pays her any mind, a-la-Alice.

Echo Richter

A glamorous, sparkling diamond in "the rough". Assumes the role of the White Rabbit, luring the peaceful Dyne into Blunderland. He's sassy, extra, and has multiple full costume changes. Never really says what he means, but gets a kick out of Dyne's reactions, so he teases her. Leisurely and doesn't take anything very seriously, so quite the opposite of the usual White Rabbit.

Aubrey Stormhand

Spearheading my favorite character in the Alice in Wonderland series, Aubrey takes the role of the White Knight that guides Dyne (Alice) through Blunderland, while constantly falling off of her horse and bashing her head on the ground. Silly and supportive, strong and kind, not the brightest bulb. Aubrey also appears later as another character, because her roles seem to fit multiple positions!

Zero Stats
Zero, one of the pilots on the Coriolis, takes the form of the hookah smoking catterpillar, sporting a plush blue-and-yellow genie-like outfit. He offers no help, and is more frustrating that anything. He teases Dyne for finding herself in this predicament. Less holier-than-thou than the original caterpillar, more hot-headed and dumb.

I'm not sure who will play this character yet! Mysterious and alluring, maybe it's a fun recolor of Dyne herself, but a confident, sexy type. Exactly the opposite of Dyne herself. Smiley and patronizing.
